This documentation will provide instructions on how to quickly integrate MBLSMS messaging services into various solutions by using the MBLSMS HTTP API. MBLSMS API is based on REST standards. In order to interact with our API, any HTTP client in any programming language can be used.

How to get started?

1. Create MBLSMS Account

In order to use our API, you will need credentials. These are not used only for API but also for other MBLSMS services like Customer portal. If you already have MBLSMS account you can skip this step. Otherwise, follow this link:

2. Request Auth Key

To use the MBLSMS API, you would need to request Auth Key. It will be used for authentication of your request. To get Auth Key, login to our customer portal at https://client.mblsms.com. Navigate to Account > Account Settings

Click the Generate button, which will produce your unique Auth Key to be used for authentication when making requests to the MBLSMS API. The Auth Key would look like that:

Make a note of the key as you will need it later when making requests to the MBLSMS API. You can always navigate to the same page, which will show you your already generated key. Once generated, the key cannot be changed. To change it or disable it, please contact us on support@mblsms.com

Basic authorization

We support the Basic authorization constructed as follows: 

The authorization method and a space - "Basic ", are put before the HTTP API Auth Key

For example - Authorization: Basic uKvED8rg*huglozYFY8Vd/zznF#*Y9

3. Test your account

The best way to test that your account is fully operational is to send a simple message to your mobile phone. Learn how by using communication method on the right side menu.
